R422A (FREON™ MO79)

R422A is a HFC refrigerant blend of R125, R134a and R600a. 

It was typically used to replace R22, R502 and blends such as R402A, R403B, and R408A in medium and low temperature refrigeration systems.

It has a GWP greater than 2500 and virgin product cannot be used for servicing in the UK and EU in stationary refrigeration applications > 40 CO2 T eq.

R448A and R449A are suitable replacements but may require an oil change.  Please contact Climalife for further information.
