FREON MO89

FREON MO89 is a HFC blend used as a retrofit refrigerant for R13B1 in low temperature direct expansion refrigeration systems.  FREON MO89 is typically used in applications such as freeze dryers, medical freezers and environmental test chambers.  FREON MO89 has cooling capabilities similar to R13B1 in many applications.

It has a GWP greater than 2500 and virgin product cannot be used for servicing in the UK and EU in stationary refrigeration applications > 40 CO2 T eq. There is an exemption for systems operating below -50 degrees C.
