SF6 Dielectric Gas

Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) is a non-toxic, non flammable, inert, insulating gas with high dielectric strength and thermal stability.  It is used to cut electric arcs or as a covering agent to prevent the ignition of magnesium. It is used in the following sectors: high voltage circuit breakers, shielded high-voltage substations, particle accelerators, metallurgy (magnesium blanketing).

Pyrostop 6 (SF6) from Climalife is a stable and inert gas. It has no aggressive effect on the materials with which it comes into contact.  Pyrostop 6 (SF6) complies with IEC 60376 standard.
