Very Low GWP (239) A2L safety class alternative to R-404A, R-507A, R-407A, R-407F for non-hermetic refrigeration applications (excluding multi-compressor retail and food service applications of 40kW or greater cooling capacity).

How does R-454A compare to R-404A?

R-454A has an improved cooling and energy efficiency performance compared to R‑404A. R‑454A does have the safety classification A2L due to its low flammability. R‑454A should only be used in systems compatible for use with low flammability refrigerants.
