R22

R22 is a single component HCFC refrigerant which was used in a wide range of applications including residential and commercial air conditioning, medium and low temperature commercial, food storage, industrial and transport refrigeration systems.

Its use is banned in the UK and EU but several alternatives exist depending on the application.  These include R438A, R448A, R449A and R453A.  Please contact Climalife for conversion guidelines and recommendations for which of these alternatives would be best for your application.
