Trace Gas
Used in the detection of leaks, Trace Gas is used by engineers, in conjunction with a leak detector, to detect leaks in RACHP systems.
Consisting of 5% Hydrogen and 95% Nitrogen, Trace Gas is non-flammable, non-toxic and since it has no ozone depletion potential (ODP) or global warming potential (GWP), is also safe for the environment.
The very small molecular size of hydrogen enables even the smallest of leaks to be detected very quickly, even where pipework is insulated or difficult to access.
Trace gas It is an effective alternative to OFN or leak detection spray.
