Climalife host 3rd GSHPA Working Group
Climalife UK
The UK’s 3rd Ground Source Heat Pump Association (GSHPA) Thermal Transfer Working Group took place on 18th November, at the Climalife office in Bristol.
The aim of the group is to raise awareness and improve best practice for installers, manufacturers and specifiers regarding selections, specification, installation methods and maintenance of Thermal Transfer Fluids (TTFs) within the Ground Source Heat Pump market.
Under discussion were the value of TTFs and the importance of selecting a good TTF early on in a project specification to avoid problems or further expense in years to come.
For example, some basic project considerations should be:
- Frost protection
- Water quality
- Maintenance
- Toxicity
For help with considerations and selection of TTFs contact Climalife for further information.
