FK 5-1-12

FK-5-1-12 is a UL recognised inhibitor gas (EX16326) used for fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems.

Its composition, fluorinated ketone, is a molecule that allows it to meet F-Gas regulations thanks to a GWP of less than 1, which makes it an ideal choice for its buyers and for the planet in the long term.

Non-flammable, it offers many possibilities for use in formulations that require safety requirements (regulatory, hazardous environment, confined environment).

Its implementation does not require any particular investment in safety installations (ATEX). It is effective in the most sensitive environments, such as data centres, banks, hospitals, museums, etc., where valuable assets could be damaged by the spray of a water-based extinguisher.

FK-5-1-12 leaves no residue on equipment and has a high dielectric strength. With the gradual reduction of HFCs on the market, this extinguishing agent is a perfect replacement for R-227ea, considerably reducing its impact on global warming.
