Climalife Golf Day tees off in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside

Each year Climalife UK hosts a golf event for customers and colleagues in the cooling industry.

This year’s June event took the team to Whitefields Golf Course in the idyllic Warwickshire countryside. Opening in 1992, Whitefields has hosted many championship events over the years. After many days of rain, the sun broke through and the golfers completed the spectacular and sometimes challenging 18-hole course.

Congratulations go to David Wilkinson of GEA who won first place, also to Jeff King (GEA) and Ty Brooks (IRS Northern) winning second and third place respectively.

Two further competitions, kindly sponsored by Chemours, saw Alex Moore (IRS Northern) win the Longest Drive and Lawrence George (AFR) win the Nearest Pin.

Winners’ awards were presented over dinner.

Allan Harper commented “Not only did we have a great day of golf but we also raised a fantastic £300 for Cancer Research – the money will be donated to our much missed colleague, Ken Clements’ Cancer Research donation page. Thanks to everyone that took part”.
